Why I'm loving Pinterest!

My own board
When my boss sent me an invite to join Pinterest, I didn't know what to expect. My boss was raving about this social media platform on her own Facebook profile that I got intrigued. So I accepted the invite, registered myself, and explored a bit. And you know what? I'm having a lot of fun with it now!
You know why I'm jumping on the bandwagon? Because Pinterest is fun. This social media platform is very interesting because you can pin photos that you like, categorize them into whatever you want, and even share it with your friends. Pinterest allows me to organize my photos into boards that interests me or something that would be used for references in my future projects.

Let me give you an example. Let's just say, I want to get married. Well, I'm not getting married any sooner, but it wouldn't hurt to get yourself prepared and have ideas, right? So I created a board for "Wedding Ideas" and filled it with pinned photos about weddings and all that stuff. Or how about home decors and style? I also made a separate board for it, searched hundreds of photos and pinned them to my board.

Are these photos familiar?
Yes, I pinned these photos from this blog

So how do you get these photos? Simple. You can either search the photos you want on the site and re-pin some of the pictures that you found already on your separate boards or pin photos that you found from your website using a web browser plug-in. You can even upload your own photos - just make sure you are willing for these photos to get shared or re-pinned a dozen times.

I can't really elaborate more on how to use Pinterest, so I'll share a video tutorial made from my boss (by the way, she did an amazing job doing the tutorial). You can also visit her site here.

So if you ever need an invite, just let me know through the comments section below. Happy pinning!

A Lesson I Learned from a Jason Mraz Song

It's such a rare moment for me to listen to a song that touched my heart in a different way. While I was working this afternoon and at the same time, listening to Jason Mraz's album called "Mr A-Z" (which by the way is fave album of mine), I could not help but replay one of the songs called "Song for a friend."

The lyrics has deep meaning and it basically tells us about a guy thanking another guy for the friendship - even says "I love you" in the lyrics. This might sound gay for some people, but I can resonate what Jason Mraz feels. Jason dedicated this song to a roommate of his, Jerry, who helped him all the way. From being a driver, to paying the rent for a year, and without even demanding for a payback. Jason appreciated what his friend did for his friend that he was inspired to write this song and dedicate this for him.
So how am I affected with this song, even to the point of getting emotional? I admit, I shed tears while listening to this song because I suddenly recalled the people who came and went in my life. There were a few people who was close to me but betrayed my trust in them. But in all my lows, there are still a few who really cared with how I feel, chose to stand by me no matter what. I don't know how I could ever repay them for being constantly there for me or how they gave me advise whenever I need it.

I am not quite sure if they know how I appreciate them for everything they did. But if they don't, then this is the time to tell them this: I love you and I do hope our friendship will blossom more. Yeah, cheesy right? But sometimes, it's better to be cheesy instead of hiding your thoughts and feelings.

If you are curious what the song is all about, check the video below:

Updates updates from Chunsa!!!

Hello Guys!!!

I'm back again and updating this blog. Honestly, I have no clue on the future of this blog or what's the direction, but I think I may have to take this one seriously from now on. I got myself an android phone two months back and downloaded a blogger app as well. So there's a possibility I might revamp this blog and update more. I'll have to re-organize a few of my past posts (categorize them as old posts) and concentrate on getting new content.

As for the "content", I'm not too sure what it is. Since this is my "blurbs", I might probably share more of my personal stuff, what's going in my life right now (as if you're interested lol), or maybe something that might caught my eye while I'm taking a walk in the park (just a maybe, hehe).

Anyway, please visit more often as I'll be updating this blog either through my laptop or my phone.

Before I go, here's a photo I would like to share with you. I asked my sister to bake a cake for me and my boyfriend.

Like it, huh? Actually, its a present for my bf :)

Alright, that's all and I'll see you guys soon!

Blog revamping... a must do!!!

It's been awhile!

I am planning to make some changes in this blog. I have no idea what content or in what direction this blog will take, but I will seriously pursue writing something different now. I'm no longer working as a correspondent as I am resorting to online jobs.

A week or two may suffice as to what kind of blog content I'll be doing. I may be deleting the old posts so that I can start afresh and new. I'll still be using the old lay-out (since I love it to death).

Anyway, please look forward to see the new changes soon =)

New start... new beginning.. AGAIN~

I haven't been updating this blog for a very long time. You see, I had to make some changes... and make decisions on what I'm supposed to do with my life. My parents, especially my dad, was disappointed at me since me being a journalist didn't get much pay. Although the experience was really great and I got to meet cool people, but I guess my dad could never see it that way. So I decided to switch jobs. Now I am working as a contractual writer - writing for a real estate company.

Well I guess it was fun while it lasted. For 9 months as a journalist, I gained lots of experience. I got to interview Enrile, saw the PGMA, gushed at how cute Sen. Recto is (really, he's hot as hell!), made friends and foes with a bunch of local and national journalists (Ate Zen, Ate Marianne, Sir Ed, Cong, Ate Ces, Ate Cai, Pipay, and a bunch of others....), and got my byline printed in a national newspaper. How cool is that, huh!

Thanks so much for giving me this one hell of an experience! No one could take them away from me.. and I intend it to be that way. I'm not sure when I'll be back as a journalist, but hopefully soon~
